I've had little snitch installed and running without issues for 2-3 years now. I reinstalled OSX from a time machine backup 2 weeks ago, and after booting up reimported a backup of the little snitch rule set. All has been well until 2 days ago when all web browsing started being blocked.
The current situation is that when I turn off the network filter I can browse the web, but as soon as I turn the filter back on, all web browsing is blocked. I tried restoring the rule set again from the known good backup, but it's still blocking.

I accidently had Little Snitch under suspicion because it happened right after I had updated Little Snitch to the latest version. Here it was Eltimate Syncmate, as I wrote in my last posting. Apr 03, 2018 I noticed that Little Snitch was blocking connections to node due to an 'invalid code signature'. I was able to confirm this by testing the configured port (as defined in the config.json). After forcing the rule in Little Snitch to allow connections, and a successful tcp connection was possible from devices on my network, I was good to go again.

Apple is not doing anything. Facebook is releasing an application for macOS.well i hope i get the option to remove it, because this is one app that i don’t like running in the background
You have to install this, so you certainly can remove it. It will not run in the background unless you launch it.even if i don’t have any FB account or don’t even run the app, but you don’t know what the app might be doing, spying or collection in the back ground, sorry FB but you builded this bad reputation and i personally don’t lime you or trust you, i’ll be blocking this app with little snitch or similar
